When Yasser Waheed fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kocaelispor's protests and gave Yasser Waheed a yellow card for diving instead. Yasser Waheed kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. If Rannal McTom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abdou Hatem charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abdou Hatem the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Abdou Hatem kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salah Nagy in the 8th minute of play forced Drommahane AF's goalkeeper Bartley Colwell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute, Rannal McTom made a precise shot to the right of Mounir El-Shater. Kocaelispor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Rannal McTom might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mounir El-Shater. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rannal McTom ran back to his position shaking his head. When Taimour Thabit fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kocaelispor's protests and gave Taimour Thabit a yellow card for diving instead. In the 17th match minute, Kocaelispor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Taimour Thabit to maneuver through the defense. Salah Nagy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Bartley Colwell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mounir El-Shater showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rannal McTom in the 24th minute of the match. Hanafy Islam's late challenge caught a Drommahane AF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hanafy Islam helped the player get up and apologised. In the 32nd minute, Rannal McTom left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Drommahane AF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Rannal McTom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 40 minutes of play, Kocaelispor's Fareed Hosny made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bartley Colwell was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rannal McTom scored 1-3 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mounir El-Shater, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rannal McTom to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Rannal McTom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mounir El-Shater saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 55 minutes into the match, Rannal McTom dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mounir El-Shater, 1-4. 59 minutes into the game, Tadhg Murphy cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Mounir El-Shater was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Salah Nagy kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 65th match minute, Kocaelispor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mido Ehab to maneuver through the defense. Rannal McTom might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mounir El-Shater. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rannal McTom ran back to his position shaking his head. Loughlin Grant kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Mounir El-Shater came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Drommahane AF's Rannal McTom. But to his dismay, Rannal McTom quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. Taimour Thabit was shown his second yellow card after 73 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Kocaelispor getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Taimour Thabit hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Kocaelispor's Hanafy Islam got a free kick in the 76th minute. When Kocaelispor's Fareed Hosny in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Drommahane AF's goalie prevented a goal. In the 80thth minute of the game Fareed Hosny who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Drommahane AF's Bartley Colwell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cacey Colwell hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute, Fareed Hosny hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Drommahane AF booed when Kocaelispor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salah Nagy didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Drommahane AF's Rannal McTom in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kocaelispor's goalie prevented a goal. Bartley Colwell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fareed Hosny, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Kocaelispor supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Drommahane AF's performance. The match ended with a win for Drommahane AF.
