Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Arif Egemen Ağaoğlu got the match started through his kick off. Benjamin Edmonton's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kılıçalp Tanaydin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. Blair Elam charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Blair Elam the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, New York Cosmos AFC's Blair Elam got a free kick in the 4th minute. 6 minutes into the game, Gwyn Blacksmith was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. New York Cosmos AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tuzlukcu the free kick. Gwyn Blacksmith kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 7th minute, Arif Egemen Ağaoğlu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paul Newbury was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Pete Rundle came free with the goalkeeper in the 12th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Kılıçalp Tanaydin could save by the left post. In the 17th minute, Arif Egemen Ağaoğlu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tuzlukcu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind New York Cosmos AFC's goalkeeper Paul Newbury, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 22 minutes into the game, Arif Egemen Ağaoğlu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Paul Newbury was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 27th minute, Arif Egemen Ağaoğlu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kılıçalp Tanaydin made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Pete Rundle sent off a good shot on target. 31 minutes into the match, Benjamin Edmonton notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Tuzlukcu's Kılıçalp Tanaydin. Kılıçalp Tanaydin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kılıçalp Tanaydin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pete Rundle in the 36th minute. When Ahmet Efe Şinas fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tuzlukcu's protests and gave Ahmet Efe Şinas a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Tuzlukcu's Ahmet Efe Şinas got a free kick in the 40th minute. After recieving a nice pass, New York Cosmos AFC's Jake Hopker tried to score from far away in the 41st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The New York Cosmos AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tuzlukcu were winning 1-3.

The wind increased when Benjamin Edmonton made the kick off in the second half. Arif Egemen Ağaoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th minute Pete Rundle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kılıçalp Tanaydin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Tuzlukcu's Ahmet Efe Şinas got a free kick in the 57th minute. Kılıçalp Tanaydin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pete Rundle, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Pete Rundle took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kılıçalp Tanaydin. Kılıçalp Tanaydin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Kılıçalp Tanaydin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pete Rundle in the 61st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benjamin Edmonton in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kılıçalp Tanaydin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hayrullah Pektay might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paul Newbury. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hayrullah Pektay ran back to his position shaking his head. Pete Rundle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Keramettin Emrettin's late challenge caught a New York Cosmos AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Keramettin Emrettin helped the player get up and apologised. After 76 played minutes Tuzlukcu got a freekick which was hit by Keramettin Emrettin. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arif Egemen Ağaoğlu in the 83rd minute of play forced New York Cosmos AFC's goalkeeper Paul Newbury to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The New York Cosmos AFC fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when New York Cosmos AFC's Benjamin Edmonton looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Hayrullah Pektay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
