With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonathon Long in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Igor Kinic saved Vidingsjö MOIF from getting behind. A hard shot by Marcus Granqvist from long distance, 16 minutes into the match, got Jamal Weatherhead's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. FC Partizan Minsk's Jamal Weatherhead proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save FC Partizan Minsk from getting a goal against them. FC Partizan Minsk's Jamal Weatherhead played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Staffan Josefsson in the 22nd minute of play. Jamal Weatherhead made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Staffan Josefsson sent off a good shot on target. FC Partizan Minsk's defense didn't have a chance, in the 48th minute, when Folke Carlsson scored to the left of an out of position Jamal Weatherhead, making the score, 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Folke Carlsson was the one to do the kick off.
