Shane Portway was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ahmet Efe Şinas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 19 minute of play. Arif Egemen Ağaoğlu hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Kılıçalp Tanaydin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Scarborough AFC's Graeme Farrow in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tuzlukcu's goalie prevented a goal. 47 minutes had been played when some careless play by Scarborough AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Keramettin Emrettin was slow to take the kick. During this time Tuzlukcu's players had a chance to rest. 47 minutes into the match it was 2-3 when Keramettin Emrettin shot a long shot which zipped by Scarborough AFC's goalkeeper at the right pole. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 57th match minute, Scarborough AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matt Whitmore to maneuver through the defense. Arif Egemen Ağaoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shane Portway having to interfere. Shane Portway made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Efe Şinas in the 62nd minute of play. Shane Portway showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arif Egemen Ağaoğlu in the 63rd minute of the match. Kılıçalp Tanaydin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vince Burgess's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. A hard shot 72 in the game by Graeme Farrow from a close distance when the talented Kılıçalp Tanaydin managed to make a qualified save. Tuzlukcu's players were relieved. Tuzlukcu's Ahmet Efe Şinas got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Shane Portway took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arif Egemen Ağaoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Tuzlukcu booed when Scarborough AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ian Keane didn't get a good kick on the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Scarborough AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Arif Egemen Ağaoğlu came free, but Shane Portway reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Graeme Farrow could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Kılıçalp Tanaydin made a huge save. Ahmet Efe Şinas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Shane Portway tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Scarborough AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
