Chivas Athletic FC - UK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Fionntán Benson scored to the left of an out of position David Crowther, making the score, 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Donagh McLaughlin during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 21 played minutes Drumgowan Ut got a freekick which was hit by Donagh McLaughlin. In the 22nd minute Luke Butcher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theodore Rutherford saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rdth minute of the game Fionntán Benson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chivas Athletic FC - UK's David Crowther was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ailín John kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luke Butcher was the one to do the kick off. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chivas Athletic FC - UK's goalkeeper David Crowther, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Oscar Kershaw who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 80thth minute tested the skills of Theodore Rutherford when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jonny Ellis hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Drumgowan Ut's Herich Sheridan got a free kick in the 91st minute. A collision led to Chivas Athletic FC - UK getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Darryl Whitworth hit a great ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
