Welf Surkemper started the match with the kick off. If Sören Gewalt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Yellow Submarine FC booed when VfL Blau Weiß was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Schulzki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Trey Ingram, 7 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Simon Schulzki's late challenge caught a Yellow Submarine FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Simon Schulzki helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to VfL Blau Weiß getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Simon Schulzki hit a great ball. Eddie Cadwallader took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Welf Surkemper, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 11 minutes of play, VfL Blau Weiß's Sören Gewalt made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eddie Cadwallader was left in no man's land by his defense there! Neil Brady's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 15thth minute, Jorg Gerhold skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Welf Surkemper sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th minute Welf Surkemper shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eddie Cadwallader saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ronnie Moss received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Jorg Gerhold tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. VfL Blau Weiß's Jorg Gerhold played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronnie Moss in the 33rd minute of play. Welf Surkemper recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 42 minutes into the game, Welf Surkemper cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Eddie Cadwallader was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The wind increased when Ronnie Moss made the kick off in the second half. Ronnie Moss scored 2-2 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jorg Gerhold, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sören Gewalt made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 55thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Eddie Cadwallader would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. 58 minutes into the game, Brynn Bambrook was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yellow Submarine FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave VfL Blau Weiß the free kick. Brynn Bambrook kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sören Gewalt got free with Eddie Cadwallader in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Claudius Thumser kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. 69 minutes into the game, Welf Surkemper recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eddie Cadwallader. Welf Surkemper showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-4. Welf Surkemper received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Eddie Cadwallader tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. VfL Blau Weiß's Jorg Gerhold played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Neil Brady in the 87th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched VfL Blau Weiß eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
