Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ronnie Moss took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th minute, Basil Quinnless hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fionntán Benson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Eddie Cadwallader tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 11th minute, Bartel McStephen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eddie Cadwallader was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 18 minutes into the game, Yellow Submarine FC's Rufus Todd nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Theodore Rutherford made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 21 minutes into the game, Neil Tuck threw the ball into play from the sideline. Drumgowan Ut's Donagh McLaughlin quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 21 minutes into the game, Donagh McLaughlin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Eddie Cadwallader was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fionntán Benson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eddie Cadwallader having to interfere. Drumgowan Ut's Theodore Rutherford played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronnie Moss in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Rufus Todd got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eddie Cadwallader came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Drumgowan Ut's Fionntán Benson. But to his dismay, Fionntán Benson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. After 41 played minutes Drumgowan Ut got a freekick which was hit by Donagh McLaughlin. Drumgowan Ut's Theodore Rutherford proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Drumgowan Ut from getting a goal against them. Rufus Todd charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rufus Todd the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Yellow Submarine FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Rufus Todd hit a great ball. 46 minutes into the game, Herich Sheridan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Drumgowan Ut's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yellow Submarine FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Drumgowan Ut's Herich Sheridan got a free kick in the 46th minute. The Yellow Submarine FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Drumgowan Ut were winning 1-3.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fionntán Benson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Theodore Rutherford took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronnie Moss, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 54th minute, Fionntán Benson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 60 minutes, Eddie Cadwallader successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Eddie Cadwallader was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fionntán Benson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 62 minute of play. In the 66th minute, Drumgowan Ut's Fionntán Benson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Eddie Cadwallader. Eddie Cadwallader yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. Eddie Cadwallader was a little too slow when Fionntán Benson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 70th minute. The score was now 1-6. Eddie Cadwallader took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartel McStephen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eddie Cadwallader stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fionntán Benson's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Herich Sheridan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eddie Cadwallader having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Fionntán Benson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eddie Cadwallader. That made the score 1-8 in the 89 minute of play. Fionntán Benson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Eddie Cadwallader tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Yellow Submarine FC booed when Drumgowan Ut was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bradagain Cooney didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 96 minutes, Trey Ingram managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yellow Submarine FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Trey Ingram was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Drumgowan Ut played a much better game than Yellow Submarine FC and deserved their victory. The Yellow Submarine FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
