Bartley Colwell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Herich Sheridan in the 32nd minute. After 34 played minutes Drommahane AF got a freekick which was hit by Rannal McTom. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fionntán Benson in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bartley Colwell saved Drommahane AF from getting behind. Fionntán Benson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Drumgowan Ut getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Bradagain Cooney hit a great ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rannal McTom to make the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Drumgowan Ut was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herich Sheridan to maneuver through the defense. Drumgowan Ut's Theodore Rutherford played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bercnan Grant in the 52nd minute of play. Bartley Colwell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartel McStephen in the 63rd minute of play. If Rannal McTom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. Fionntán Benson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Bartley Colwell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Theodore Rutherford showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rannal McTom, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. 77 minutes into the match, Drommahane AF's goal looked a bit too open when Herich Sheridan came free, but Bartley Colwell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Drumgowan Ut's Fionntán Benson in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When Rannal McTom came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Drommahane AF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rannal McTom couldn't finish the play. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Drumgowan Ut's goalkeeper Theodore Rutherford, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 97th minute, Rannal McTom got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
