Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Graeme Farrow took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 2nd minute, Neil Brady managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yellow Submarine FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Neil Brady was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Shane Portway breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 5th minute, Vince Burgess ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eddie Cadwallader was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Ronnie Moss received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Shane Portway tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ronnie Moss came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Yellow Submarine FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronnie Moss couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vince Burgess in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eddie Cadwallader saved Yellow Submarine FC from getting behind. Brynn Bambrook struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Shane Portway didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yellow Submarine FC. In the 29th minute, Rufus Todd left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Yellow Submarine FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Vince Burgess sped through Yellow Submarine FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eddie Cadwallader. 36 minutes into the game, Scarborough AFC's Graeme Farrow nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eddie Cadwallader made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. When Yellow Submarine FC's Ronnie Moss in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Scarborough AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Eddie Cadwallader stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vince Burgess's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-2 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ronnie Moss made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Scarborough AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Barney Barfield came free, but Shane Portway reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Scarborough AFC's Rio Rowling got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Neil Brady recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 57 minutes into the match, Scarborough AFC's goalkeeper Shane Portway had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Neil Brady. In the 59th minute, Graeme Farrow left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Scarborough AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronnie Moss in the 66th minute of play forced Scarborough AFC's goalkeeper Shane Portway to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute Graeme Farrow shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eddie Cadwallader saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Vince Burgess put it in 6-2 from a short distance just to the right of Eddie Cadwallader. In the 73rd minute Rufus Todd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shane Portway saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ronnie Moss sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Shane Portway showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rufus Todd in the 76th minute of the match. Shane Portway made an important save on a dangerous shot by Neil Brady in the 78th minute. In the 79thth minute of the game Vince Burgess who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yellow Submarine FC's Eddie Cadwallader was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Scarborough AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ronnie Moss came free, but Shane Portway reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vince Burgess in the 83rd minute of play forced Yellow Submarine FC's goalkeeper Eddie Cadwallader to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Yellow Submarine FC defense, Vince Burgess kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eddie Cadwallader. The Yellow Submarine FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eddie Cadwallader should have stopped the shot. In the 87th minute Rufus Todd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shane Portway saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 88 minutes Scarborough AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Trey Ingram who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Barney Barfield managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 89th minute, Pierre Huckerby hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rufus Todd in the 94th minute of play forced Scarborough AFC's goalkeeper Shane Portway to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vince Burgess in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eddie Cadwallader saved Yellow Submarine FC from getting behind. Scarborough AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
