Eddie Cadwallader came out of the goal and Luke Butcher tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ronnie Moss struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. David Crowther didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yellow Submarine FC. The audience was convinced that Ronnie Moss's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but David Crowther was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. In the 34th minute Luke Butcher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eddie Cadwallader saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Neil Brady who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of David Crowther when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Eddie Cadwallader stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oscar Kershaw's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. In the 40th minute, Luke Butcher ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eddie Cadwallader was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 44 minutes into the match, Yellow Submarine FC's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Kershaw came free, but Eddie Cadwallader reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oscar Kershaw in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eddie Cadwallader prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Ronnie Moss made the kick off in the second half. Oscar Kershaw who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Eddie Cadwallader when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 56th minute, Barney Barfield hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luke Butcher was extremely unlucky when he, in the 58th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Vern Church's late challenge caught a Yellow Submarine FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vern Church helped the player get up and apologised. After 59 played minutes Chivas Athletic FC - UK got a freekick which was hit by Vern Church. In the 61st minute, Ronnie Moss ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. David Crowther was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After a rather tough play, Yellow Submarine FC's Neil Brady got a free kick in the 64th minute. Trey Ingram charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. When Neil Brady came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Yellow Submarine FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Neil Brady couldn't finish the play. Chivas Athletic FC - UK's David Crowther played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Neil Brady in the 80th minute of play.
