Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Graeme Farrow kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in Scarborough AFC's zone, Tadhg Murphy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Shane Portway came out of the goal and Tadhg Murphy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 11th minute of the match, Rannal McTom tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Shane Portway saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 19 minutes into the game, Tadhg Murphy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Drommahane AF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Scarborough AFC the free kick. A collision led to Drommahane AF getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Tadhg Murphy hit a great ball. Bartley Colwell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Graeme Farrow in the 20th minute of the match. The corner ended in Ben Proctor almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Drommahane AF's Bartley Colwell did a great save. Vince Burgess scored 0-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bartley Colwell, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rannal McTom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shane Portway having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Tadhg Murphy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Bercnan Grant came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Drommahane AF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bercnan Grant couldn't finish the play. In the 36th minute, Gez Hassell made a precise shot to the right of Bartley Colwell. Drommahane AF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. If Graeme Farrow had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 43 played minutes Drommahane AF got a freekick which was hit by Dermot Holt. Ailín McStephen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shane Portway having to interfere. Scarborough AFC's Shane Portway proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Scarborough AFC from getting a goal against them. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rannal McTom to make the kick off. Shane Portway made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rannal McTom in the 55th minute of play. George Cook made in the 62nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Dan Clemence however managed to control. A collision led to Scarborough AFC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Graeme Farrow hit a great ball. Tadhg Murphy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Scarborough AFC defense, Rannal McTom kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Shane Portway. The Scarborough AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Shane Portway should have stopped the shot. Biddy Ramsey kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. A hard shot by George Cook from long distance, 77 minutes into the match, got Bartley Colwell's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Drommahane AF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 80th minute, when Vince Burgess scored to the left of an out of position Bartley Colwell, making the score, 1-3. Thanks to some nice moves Graeme Farrow could shoot a difficult shot in the 85th minute, which Bartley Colwell however easily saved by the left post. Bartley Colwell was out of position in the 89 minute of play, and Gez Hassell capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gez Hassell really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rannal McTom in the 93rd minute of play forced Scarborough AFC's goalkeeper Shane Portway to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Scarborough AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Rannal McTom came free, but Shane Portway reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Drommahane AF manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Scarborough AFC to win.
