Fionntán Benson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vali Petrin having to interfere. If Marius Rareș had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Drumgowan Ut's Theodore Rutherford proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Drumgowan Ut from getting a goal against them. After 24 minutes of play, Drumgowan Ut's Fionntán Benson made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vali Petrin was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 28th minute Marius Rareș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theodore Rutherford saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Drumgowan Ut's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marius Rareș was slow to take the kick. During this time Cosa Nostra's players had a chance to rest. If Ionică Milcoveanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Cosa Nostra players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Drumgowan Ut were winning 0-2.

Tudor Buzilă charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tudor Buzilă the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Marius Rareș managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cosa Nostra's supporters rose to their feet, but Marius Rareș was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Theodore Rutherford breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marius Rareș sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vali Petrin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fionntán Benson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 64 minute of play. Drumgowan Ut's Donagh McLaughlin quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Valeriu Bolcaș, made in the 67th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fionntán Benson in the 70th minute of play forced Cosa Nostra's goalkeeper Vali Petrin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Drumgowan Ut's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bartel McStephen in the 71st minute. Drumgowan Ut's Bartel McStephen was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Vali Petrin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Vali Petrin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herich Sheridan in the 74th minute of play. Tudor Buzilă kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. After 84 minutes, Cristi Boșneag mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cosa Nostra and the Drumgowan Ut players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 84th minute, Cristi Boșneag hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ionică Milcoveanu came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Cosa Nostra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ionică Milcoveanu couldn't finish the play. In the 88th minute, Fionntán Benson made a precise shot to the right of Vali Petrin. Cosa Nostra's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. If Bartel McStephen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Drumgowan Ut walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
