Pierre Huckerby kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. 8 minutes into the match, Samir de los Caños's goal looked a bit too open when Ian Keane came free, but Jaume Rodriguez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mikel Cardeñosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Shane Portway tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bittor Varela kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Graeme Farrow in the 14th minute of play forced Samir de los Caños's goalkeeper Jaume Rodriguez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Samir de los Caños's zone, Vince Burgess stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jaume Rodriguez came out of the goal and Vince Burgess tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Graeme Farrow recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 25th minute, Guillerme Clemente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jaume Rodriguez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ben Proctor in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute of the match Samir de los Caños got a corner. Scarborough AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mikel Cardeñosa ran over to the corner to take the kick. Inocencio Sans hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute of the match Rio Rowling shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jaume Rodriguez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Samir de los Caños's goal looked a bit too open when Gez Hassell came free, but Jaume Rodriguez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 32 played minutes Samir de los Caños got a freekick which was hit by Aiert Verdeja. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raimundo Salan during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 34 played minutes Samir de los Caños got a freekick which was hit by Raimundo Salan. Jaume Rodriguez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ian Keane, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jaume Rodriguez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gez Hassell, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Jaume Rodriguez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vince Burgess in the 43rd minute of the match. Scarborough AFC's Gez Hassell got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Graeme Farrow scored 0-1 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jaume Rodriguez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Samir de los Caños's Natalio Pedrosa was substituted for Quirce Bodelon. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mikel Cardeñosa was the one to do the kick off. Mikel Cardeñosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Shane Portway tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Mikel Cardeñosa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Shane Portway was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vince Burgess in the 60th minute of play forced Samir de los Caños's goalkeeper Jaume Rodriguez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Samir de los Caños's Jaume Rodriguez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Samir de los Caños from getting a goal against them. Jaume Rodriguez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vince Burgess, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Scarborough AFC booed when Samir de los Caños was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iratze Riba didn't get a good kick on the ball. Samir de los Caños made a substitution. Falo Navarro replaced Iratze Riba. After a rather tough play, Samir de los Caños's Iratze Riba got a free kick in the 69th minute. Jaume Rodriguez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vince Burgess, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jaume Rodriguez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pierre Huckerby, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Jaume Rodriguez was a little too slow when Pierre Huckerby got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 1-2. Jaume Rodriguez made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Rio Rowling sent off a good shot on target. When Vince Burgess came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Scarborough AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vince Burgess couldn't finish the play. 81 minutes into the match, Samir de los Caños's goal looked a bit too open when Vince Burgess came free, but Jaume Rodriguez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute, Scarborough AFC's Pierre Huckerby ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jaume Rodriguez. Jaume Rodriguez yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. In the 89th minute Falo Navarro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shane Portway saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iain Keane kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. A collision led to Samir de los Caños getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Bittor Varela hit a great ball. 98 minutes into the match, Scarborough AFC's Ben Proctor broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Scarborough AFC played a much better game than Samir de los Caños and deserved their victory. The Samir de los Caños players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
