When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Welf Surkemper made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Fionntán Benson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fionntán Benson in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jorg Gerhold saved VfL Blau Weiß from getting behind. 70 minutes into the game, Drumgowan Ut's Fionntán Benson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jorg Gerhold made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Hagen Klein managed to get in a good position for a shot. VfL Blau Weiß's supporters rose to their feet, but Hagen Klein was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
