The referee showed Daniel Copil the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Daniel Copil hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. After having played for 7 minutes, Marcus Granqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vidingsjö MOIF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcus Granqvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joar Lindberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marius Rareș, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Vidingsjö MOIF defense, Marius Rareș kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joar Lindberg. The Vidingsjö MOIF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joar Lindberg should have stopped the shot. In the 17th minute Ionică Milcoveanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joar Lindberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joar Lindberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marius Rareș in the 19th minute of the match. In the 21st match minute, Cosa Nostra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romeo Grindeanu to maneuver through the defense. When Mikael Petersson fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vidingsjö MOIF's protests and gave Mikael Petersson a yellow card for diving instead. Ionică Milcoveanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joar Lindberg having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Svante Löv during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 27th minute, Svante Löv hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28thth minute of the game Ionică Milcoveanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vidingsjö MOIF's Joar Lindberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Cosa Nostra's Vali Petrin got control of the ball when Marcus Granqvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. Joar Lindberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ionică Milcoveanu in the 32nd minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Marcus Granqvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vali Petrin. Cosa Nostra's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcus Granqvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After some careless play in the Vidingsjö MOIF defense, Ionică Milcoveanu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joar Lindberg. In the 42nd minute of the match, Folke Carlsson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Vali Petrin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Gustav Skröder hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Ionică Milcoveanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th minute, Romeo Grindeanu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cosa Nostra fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marius Rareș to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Marcus Granqvist made a precise shot to the right of Vali Petrin. Cosa Nostra's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. With a little luck, Vidingsjö MOIF's Joar Lindberg got control of the ball when Romeo Grindeanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. 57 minutes into the game, Ionică Milcoveanu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Joar Lindberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marius Neaga kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Vali Petrin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcus Granqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marius Rareș in the 65th minute of play forced Vidingsjö MOIF's goalkeeper Joar Lindberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Cosa Nostra's Marius Neaga got a free kick in the 66th minute. Vali Petrin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Folke Carlsson in the 68th minute of the match. Vali Petrin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Granqvist in the 69th minute of play. Vali Petrin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Folke Carlsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Marcus Granqvist took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vali Petrin. Vali Petrin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-4. If Marcus Granqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute Marcus Granqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vali Petrin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Cosa Nostra's goal looked a bit too open when Folke Carlsson came free, but Vali Petrin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustav Skröder kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Cosa Nostra's Daniel Copil got his second yellow card of the match in the 86th minute. The referee ordered Daniel Copil off the ground. After 86 played minutes Cosa Nostra got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Copil. 93 minutes into the match, Marcus Granqvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vali Petrin. Cosa Nostra's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcus Granqvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-4. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
