The supporters of AFC Ascoli booed when Drommahane AF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jo Furlong ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Jo Furlong got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bartley Colwell quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 39th minute, Chesney Jobson made a precise shot to the right of Bartley Colwell. Drommahane AF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Bartley Colwell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chesney Jobson in the 41st minute of play. Dale Tompkins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rannal McTom in the 43rd minute of the match. A collision led to AFC Ascoli getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Mick Slade hit a great ball. The supporters of AFC Ascoli booed when Drommahane AF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tadhg Murphy didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Biddy Ramsey during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 51 played minutes Drommahane AF got a freekick which was hit by Biddy Ramsey. Bartley Colwell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chesney Jobson in the 58th minute of the match. If Rannal McTom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tadhg Murphy charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tadhg Murphy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 63 played minutes Drommahane AF got a freekick which was hit by Tadhg Murphy. After a defensive mix-up in Drommahane AF's zone, Kristian Topham stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bartley Colwell came out of the goal and Kristian Topham tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Drommahane AF's Dermot Holt managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Harvey Panther in the 70 minute of the game. In the 75th minute Rannal McTom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dale Tompkins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Drommahane AF's Biddy Ramsey got a free kick in the 76th minute. Chesney Jobson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Bartley Colwell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chesney Jobson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Bartley Colwell made a huge save. If Rannal McTom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rannal McTom struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Dale Tompkins didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Drommahane AF. When the final whistle went the supporters of AFC Ascoli were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Drommahane AF side.
