In the 28th minute Turgay Hafi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils Elmhuus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gong Qi Fan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gong Qi Fan in the 41st minute of play forced Bancruz F.C's goalkeeper Ciro Nerio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ciro Nerio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gong Qi Fan in the 69th minute of the match. If Turgay Hafi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Quinto Ampudia really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Neither team could find the winning goal during normal time. The second half finished 1-1. Extra-time would have to be played.

After the break the players went out on the field to play the first half of overtime with revived energy in their legs. Playa Malvín's Quinto Ampudia started the play with the initial kick off. Ciro Nerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stelian Murgu in the 104th minute of play. Bancruz F.C's Alfonso Tauro managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Vladimiro Marquez in the 107 minute of the game. Vladimiro Marquez made in the 110th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Quinto Ampudia.

The players looked a little tired but resolute before the second half of the overtime, where Çelikan Koçaş took the kick off. Quinto Ampudia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 122nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ciro Nerio having to make a save. Quinto Ampudia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 128th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfonso Tauro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 131st minute. Nils Elmhuus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The game was still level after extra-time. The match had to be settled by penalties!

In the 137th minute there was a penalty for Playa Malvín. Stelian Murgu stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ciro Nerio. 2-2. Playa Malvín:s Nils Elmhuus showed great skill when he stopped Nunez Tano:s penalty. Nils Elmhuus had in the 144thth minute some difficulties stopping Luca Driver's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The referee gave Bancruz F.C a penalty, 147 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Geronimo Jaunti, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Playa Malvín's Nils Elmhuus. 4-4. When the match had been going on for 149 minutes, Playa Malvín's Vladimiro Marquez got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ciro Nerio. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Playa Malvín eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
