Piotr Lech showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gavino Santo, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Piotr Lech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gavino Santo in the 20th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, FC Wöllersdorf's Piotr Lech threw himself towards the right post 28 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gavino Santo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Herbert Vester received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Piotr Lech tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Piotr Lech managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when FC Wöllersdorf's Herbert Vester fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Piotr Lech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gavino Santo in the 38th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Herbert Vester made a kick off. Piotr Lech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gavino Santo in the 56th minute of play. Gavino Santo took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Piotr Lech. Piotr Lech dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 63 minutes into the match, Herbert Vester had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Piotr Lech. The Irons Chorzów's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Herbert Vester was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Piotr Lech showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gavino Santo, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Ksawery Rutkowski kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match.
