The BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's Cirilo Arlo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Traian Curuțiu in the 14th minute of play forced BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's goalkeeper Big Hands to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jailson Abraão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramon Pueblo, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 22 minutes into the match, BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Eduardo Guerrero came free, but Big Hands reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ramon Pueblo made a kick off. In the 51st minute Ramon Pueblo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jailson Abraão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 54 minutes BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Saruhan Akyazıcı who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Juan Eduardo Guerrero managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 58th minute Juan Eduardo Guerrero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Big Hands saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC MeHigh were awarded a corner in the 82th minute after BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Saruhan Akyazıcı ran over to the corner to take the kick. Traian Curuțiu made a great header on FC MeHigh's corner, it was just that BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's Big Hands managed to reach the ball for a save. Big Hands made an important save on a dangerous shot by Philip Åkerman in the 95th minute.

FC MeHigh's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB had won, even though FC MeHigh had held more of the ball.
