After 6 minutes of play, StardustRevolution's Piara Santo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Petras Anusauskas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marcos Burni made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Wilfredo Nikola sent off a good shot on target. 20 minutes into the match, Piara Santo notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's Petras Anusauskas. Petras Anusauskas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 23 minutes into the match, C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's goal looked a bit too open when Piara Santo came free, but Petras Anusauskas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Piara Santo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Piara Santo in the 25th minute of play forced C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's goalkeeper Petras Anusauskas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 27th play minutes Wilfredo Nikola shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Marcos Burni and just under the crossbar into goal. StardustRevolution's defense didn't have a chance, in the 31st minute, when Wilfredo Nikola scored to the left of an out of position Marcos Burni, making the score, 2-2. 苏海锋 got a throw-in 34 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Aureliano Negro. Marcos Burni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilfredo Nikola in the 35th minute of the match. Marcos Burni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luciano Segio in the 43rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's Cristian Romero got a free kick in the 47th minute. After recieving a nice pass, StardustRevolution's Ignacio Ereinotz tried to score from far away in the 47th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wilfredo Nikola was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of StardustRevolution booed when C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. 苏海锋 didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Teofilo Oxarra hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's zone, Ignacio Ereinotz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Petras Anusauskas came out of the goal and Ignacio Ereinotz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Flavius Ichim hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. StardustRevolution's Gabriel Batistuta was substituted for Piara Santo. C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo made a substitution. Erasmo Jago replaced Wilfredo Nikola. C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's Godfredo Nuñez was substituted for Aureliano Negro. StardustRevolution made a substitution. Eduardo Vasco replaced Uygar Orhan. StardustRevolution's Nacho Scocco was substituted for Delmiro Oto. In the 64th minute, Flavius Ichim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Flavius Ichim kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Erasmo Jago's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcos Burni read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godfredo Nuñez in the 68th minute of play forced StardustRevolution's goalkeeper Marcos Burni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nacho Scocco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Petras Anusauskas made a huge save. The StardustRevolution fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when StardustRevolution's Nacho Scocco looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nacho Scocco in the 78th minute of play forced C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's goalkeeper Petras Anusauskas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute, Eduardo Vasco made a precise shot to the right of Petras Anusauskas. C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 3-4 when Godfredo Nuñez sped through StardustRevolution's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marcos Burni. 90 minutes into the match, C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's goal looked a bit too open when Nacho Scocco came free, but Petras Anusauskas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo booed when StardustRevolution was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anier Sandaili didn't get a good kick on the ball. Petras Anusauskas made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Eduardo Vasco sent off a good shot on target. Marcos Burni came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's Godfredo Nuñez. But to his dismay, Godfredo Nuñez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-4.

With new strength the players walked out on the field for the first half of overtime. Gabriel Batistuta in StardustRevolution was the one to initiate the kick off. In the 103rdth minute of the game Gabriel Batistuta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's Petras Anusauskas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in StardustRevolution's zone, Godfredo Nuñez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcos Burni came out of the goal and Godfredo Nuñez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 107th match minute, StardustRevolution was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduardo Vasco to maneuver through the defense. StardustRevolution's Marcos Burni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godfredo Nuñez in the 108th minute of play. If Godfredo Nuñez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 116th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marcos Burni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Godfredo Nuñez in the 116th minute of play. When the referee signaled the end of the first half of extra-time the score was 4-4. The players had a chance to rest for a moment before the second half.

The players still looked rather fresh even though it was time for second half of the overtime. Godfredo Nuñez did a quick kick off. If Godfredo Nuñez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 120th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marcos Burni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godfredo Nuñez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's Petras Anusauskas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 125th minute of the match, managed to save C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo from getting a goal against them. Marcos Burni didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Godfredo Nuñez went, in the 127th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-4 was the resulting score. C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
