FC Wil 1900's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maicon Oliveira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Davi Isac sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Davi Isac fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yanic Kulenovic having to interfere. Yanic Kulenovic stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Davi Isac's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute, FC Wil 1900's Karim Gerber seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Karim Gerber the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FC Wil 1900 protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Karim Gerber had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Karim Gerber kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Kiko Souza took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Yanic Kulenovic. FC Wil 1900's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Kacper Sroka kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. It was a well-played corner which Roland Cirella managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vagner Penisson to make the kick off. A collision led to FC Wil 1900 getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Adam Hinnen hit a great ball. Jairo Madureira charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yanic Kulenovic prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Maicon Oliveira took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Yanic Kulenovic to make any attempt to save it. 68 minutes into the match, FC Wil 1900's goal looked a bit too open when Davi Isac came free, but Yanic Kulenovic reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yanic Kulenovic took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Davi Isac, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The FC Wil 1900 fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when FC Wil 1900's Vagner Penisson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. C.'s Maicon Oliveira got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Yanic Kulenovic. Yanic Kulenovic made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Davi Isac sent off a good shot on target. A very nice done corner allowed Jairo Madureira to score against Yanic Kulenovic in FC Wil 1900's goal. 2-4 after 91 minutes. Yanic Kulenovic was a little too slow when Davi Isac got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 94th minute. The score was now 2-5. Davi Isac sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
SORRISO E. C.'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
