But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Witold Bycofski couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Witold Bycofski in the 11th minute of play forced Chelmza Team's goalkeeper Waldemar Pawlik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zdzislaw Kręcina kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. A throw-in in the 17th minute of the game was made by Kryspin Mleczewski with Witold Bycofski as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Waldemar Pawlik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Witold Bycofski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rusi Moskal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 22nd minute Witold Bycofski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldemar Pawlik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Waldemar Pawlik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Witold Bycofski, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. With a little luck, Chelmza Team's Waldemar Pawlik got control of the ball when Rusi Moskal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Waldemar Pawlik dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Waldemar Pawlik made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zdzislaw Kręcina in the 43rd minute. In the 44th minute, Lu Yuan Yin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 46th minute, Zdzislaw Rydzewski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The U21 Poland fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 84th minute Zdzislaw Rydzewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldemar Pawlik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute, Zdzislaw Rydzewski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The U21 Poland fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0.
