The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edinson Haaland in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alaaddin Solskjær saved FC Kurdistan from getting behind. From a short distance, Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Edinson Haaland, in the 6th minute, tried to place the ball behind Alaaddin Solskjær, but the ball hit the right post on the wrong side and went out. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Frank Frankfurter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Sundström in the 8th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Sundström in the 9th minute of play forced Chinese CJ Youth Academy's goalkeeper Frank Frankfurter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frank Frankfurter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Åström in the 14th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Alaaddin Solskjær threw himself towards the right post 15 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edinson Haaland, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Emanuel Åström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Frank Frankfurter read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. FC Kurdistan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fredric Hybbert was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alaaddin Solskjær was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tytus Orling showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 48 minute of play.

The wind increased when Fredric Hybbert made the kick off in the second half. Su Jian Jie hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Frank Frankfurter proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Chinese CJ Youth Academy from getting a goal against them.
