C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after ITAFUT 4EVER's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Saul Roman took the corner. Xiao Ting Yang stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ryszard Barycz's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Christian Almkvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nilson Peres. ITAFUT 4EVER's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christian Almkvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Nilson Peres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Almkvist in the 25th minute of play. C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's Christian Almkvist got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's Xiao Ting Yang proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 from getting a goal against them. After 35 played minutes C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 got a freekick which was hit by Bonifacio Abascal. After a defensive mix-up in C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's zone, Jean-Paul Møffelmand stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xiao Ting Yang came out of the goal and Jean-Paul Møffelmand tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Rodriguinho Linhares kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Xiao Ting Yang. That made the score 1-2 in the 41 minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ryszard Barycz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 booed when ITAFUT 4EVER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodriguinho Linhares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Xiao Ting Yang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodriguinho Linhares in the 77th minute of the match. With a little luck, ITAFUT 4EVER's Nilson Peres got control of the ball when Lu Fan Xi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Xiao Ting Yang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jardel Baggio in the 79th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Saul Roman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nilson Peres was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. ITAFUT 4EVER's Boguslaw Tarasek was substituted for Evelio Rico. In the 87th minute Rodriguinho Linhares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xiao Ting Yang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th minute, Jairo Montes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nilson Peres was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Saul Roman's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 92ndth minute, Nilson Peres skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The ITAFUT 4EVER supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's performance.
