The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lars Sundström in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eustaquio Javiar saved Baraja Española FC from getting behind. Eustaquio Javiar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iwan Kasiewski in the 23rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Lars Sundström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eustaquio Javiar was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iwan Kasiewski in the 37th minute of play forced Baraja Española FC's goalkeeper Eustaquio Javiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Iwan Kasiewski to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Sundström in the 55th minute of play forced Baraja Española FC's goalkeeper Eustaquio Javiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute, Erhard Esbo had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. When Mauricio Galtero fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Baraja Española FC's protests and gave Mauricio Galtero a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of FC Kurdistan booed when Baraja Española FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauricio Galtero didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th minute Roberto-Carlos da Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eustaquio Javiar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Kurdistan's Elliot Nordgren was substituted for Lars Sundström. Eustaquio Javiar made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Elliot Nordgren sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elliot Nordgren in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eustaquio Javiar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The throw-in from Sílvio Pires in the 73rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC Kurdistan's Iwan Kasiewski. After some careless play in the Baraja Española FC defense, Elliot Nordgren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eustaquio Javiar. The Baraja Española FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eustaquio Javiar should have stopped the shot. The corner ended in Mauricio Galtero almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Kurdistan's Alaaddin Solskjær did a great save. When the match was over FC Kurdistan could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Baraja Española FC throughout the match.
