An unexpectedly hard shot by Mikolaj Giertych in the 12th minute of play forced Soroca F.C.'s goalkeeper Dan Wennerqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dan Wennerqvist was out of position in the 14 minute of play, and Mikolaj Giertych capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mikolaj Giertych really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mikolaj Giertych got free with Dan Wennerqvist in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kang Ying Hai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrián Espadas, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by ..Villa Rugby Club..'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gustavo Tartalo was slow to take the kick. During this time Soroca F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of ..Villa Rugby Club..'s goalie and right to Cyprien Combaz. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. ..Villa Rugby Club..'s manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. A collision led to ..Villa Rugby Club.. getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Napoleon Lewicki hit a great ball. In the 27th minute Adrián Espadas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kang Ying Hai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Adrián Espadas made the kick off in the second half. Dan Wennerqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikolaj Giertych in the 51st minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Soroca F.C.'s Adrián Espadas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kang Ying Hai. That made the score 2-2 after 57 minutes of play. Soroca F.C. made a substitution. Răzvan Necula replaced Adrián Espadas. In the 63rd minute Răzvan Necula shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kang Ying Hai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ..Villa Rugby Club..'s Flavio Perez was substituted for Jakob Källberg. Soroca F.C.'s Rodolfo Atarrabi was substituted for Hernan Lano. A throw-in in the 68th minute of the game was made by Max Josef Justice with Răzvan Necula as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. When Olaf Cebula, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 92 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Dan Wennerqvist was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Dan Wennerqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olaf Cebula, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score was 3-3 after 90 minutes, which forced the match into extra-time.

After the break the players went out on the field to play the first half of overtime with revived energy in their legs. ..Villa Rugby Club..'s Olaf Cebula started the play with the initial kick off. In the 101st minute, Răzvan Necula got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Olaf Cebula got free with Dan Wennerqvist in the 110th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zézinho Neiva in the 112th minute of play forced ..Villa Rugby Club..'s goalkeeper Kang Ying Hai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kang Ying Hai came out of the goal in the 112th minute to try and stop a shot by Soroca F.C.'s Zézinho Neiva. But to his dismay, Zézinho Neiva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4. The ..Villa Rugby Club.. supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Soroca F.C.'s performance. The match ended with a win for Soroca F.C..
