The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 6th play minutes Daniel Sousa shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Clive Holloway and just under the crossbar into goal. Clive Holloway took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Sousa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Clive Holloway was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Daniel Sousa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 12 minute of play. Daniel Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clive Holloway having to interfere. After 24 played minutes Staffordshire Terrier FC got a freekick which was hit by Mark Mager. Clive Holloway took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Sousa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Sousa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Clive Holloway made a huge save. Daniel Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 36 minutes into the game, Capibaribe Stars's Daniel Sousa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Clive Holloway made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 40th minute, Daniel Sousa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Capibaribe Stars fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Clive Holloway took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Sousa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute, Mihnea Zamfir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Schorsch Schmalzbauer to make the kick off. In the 55th minute, Daniel Sousa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Schorsch Schmalzbauer kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Schorsch Schmalzbauer hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Clive Holloway took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Sousa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Schorsch Schmalzbauer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thomás Toscano having to make a save. Thomás Toscano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Schorsch Schmalzbauer, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 64th minute, one of Staffordshire Terrier FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Staffordshire Terrier FC. The referee gave Capibaribe Stars a penalty, 66 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Daniel Sousa, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Staffordshire Terrier FC's Clive Holloway. 5-0. Staffordshire Terrier FC made a substitution. Oakley Smith replaced Jay Flack. Schorsch Schmalzbauer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thomás Toscano having to make a save. Thomás Toscano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Schorsch Schmalzbauer in the 70th minute. 72 minutes into the match, Staffordshire Terrier FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Sousa came free, but Clive Holloway reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clive Holloway came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Capibaribe Stars's Daniel Sousa. But to his dismay, Daniel Sousa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Clive Holloway showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Sousa in the 80th minute of the match. Staffordshire Terrier FC made a substitution. Tristram Gower replaced Schorsch Schmalzbauer. Thomás Toscano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matt Sullivan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Clive Holloway showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Sousa, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Daniel Sousa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Capibaribe Stars were awarded a corner in the 95th minute after Staffordshire Terrier FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Atalay Turkay took the corner. Capibaribe Stars's Atalay Turkay was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Clive Holloway in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After having played for 97 minutes, 史挺亮 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Staffordshire Terrier FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but 史挺亮 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Capibaribe Stars were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Staffordshire Terrier FC for a fine match.
