Bruno Scibilia scored 1-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Igor Siekierski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Freddie Ljungberg got free with Igor Siekierski in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 23rd minute of the match, Kuido Suursaar got a very nice opportunity to score, but Igor Siekierski was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Claus Himschoot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariusz Mroczynski, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Czeslaw Tipinski was the one to do the kick off. Brow Team's Igor Siekierski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddie Ljungberg in the 52nd minute of play. Igor Siekierski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddie Ljungberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After 57 played minutes Brow Team got a freekick which was hit by Franciszek Modliszewski. Norbert Kostrzewa kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. If Adrián Frick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. Zachary Wojno hit a great ball. Igor Siekierski made a fantastic save in the 110th minute, when Freddie Ljungberg sent off a good shot on target. In the 113th minute of the match, Kuido Suursaar got a very nice opportunity to score, but Igor Siekierski was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 114 minutes into the match, Brow Team's Franciszek Modliszewski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Claus Himschoot narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The first half of extra-time was a real thriller. Both teams had created chances, but they were still tied when the whistle blew. The players were able to take a short breather during the short break.
Mariusz Mroczynski charged in rather forcefully in the 119th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mariusz Mroczynski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 120 minutes into the match, Brow Team's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Ülger came free, but Igor Siekierski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. PomeziaRamblers's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Adrián Frick in the 122nd minute. Igor Siekierski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freddie Ljungberg in the 123rd minute of the match. Igor Siekierski came out of the goal in the 124th minute to try and stop a shot by PomeziaRamblers's Freddie Ljungberg. But to his dismay, Freddie Ljungberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Brow Team's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
