The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arif Çelebi Ergener in the 5th minute of play forced Begu Ganjang's goalkeeper Tonio Bergada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manuel Aurelianu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lech Blochowiak. Tours Football Club's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arif Çelebi Ergener made a kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match Begu Ganjang got a corner. Tours Football Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Manuel Aurelianu ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Begu Ganjang's Arif Nihat Tekin to fire away a dangerous shot which Lech Blochowiak despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Lech Blochowiak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grisha Mbappè in the 58th minute of the match. Tours Football Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Aziz Koehler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
