The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Zeledon Curcio had in the 5thth minute some difficulties stopping Lisandro Iraunkor's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lisandro Iraunkor got free with Zeledon Curcio in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 11th minute, Lisandro Iraunkor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zeledon Curcio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 14 minutes into the match, Mafia Koniaka's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaud Konieczny came free, but Zbigniew Glapiak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 19 minutes into the game, Lisandro Iraunkor cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Zeledon Curcio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Yala's Zeledon Curcio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lisandro Iraunkor in the 22nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anton Best in the 23rd minute of play forced Mafia Koniaka's goalkeeper Zbigniew Glapiak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute of the match Yala got a corner. Mafia Koniaka's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Esteve Abechuco ran over to the corner to take the kick. Yala's Generoso Pinto managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Dobromir Prokowski in the 26 minute of the game. Zeledon Curcio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lisandro Iraunkor in the 34th minute of the match. 34 minutes in the game, Lisandro Iraunkor dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Esteve Abechuco struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Zbigniew Glapiak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yala. Zeledon Curcio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lisandro Iraunkor in the 38th minute of play. After 41 played minutes Yala got a freekick which was hit by Gwendal Puig. The supporters of Mafia Koniaka booed when Yala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnaud Konieczny didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Zeledon Curcio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lisandro Iraunkor's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lisandro Iraunkor in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zeledon Curcio saved Yala from getting behind. After 54 minutes, Lisandro Iraunkor made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Yala's Zeledon Curcio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lisandro Iraunkor in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zeledon Curcio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pankracy Dombroski kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Radomil Dudkowski notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Yala's Zeledon Curcio. Zeledon Curcio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Zeledon Curcio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lisandro Iraunkor, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Yala's goal looked a bit too open when Lisandro Iraunkor came free, but Zeledon Curcio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lisandro Iraunkor in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zeledon Curcio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mafia Koniaka made a substitution. Ziemowit Sidorowicz replaced Radomil Dudkowski. 80 minutes into the match, Yala's goal looked a bit too open when Przemyslaw Gierasik came free, but Zeledon Curcio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Yala's Arnaud Konieczny got a free kick in the 82nd minute. The audience was convinced that Przemyslaw Gierasik's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zeledon Curcio was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Zbigniew Glapiak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Jaunti in the 85th minute. If Przemyslaw Gierasik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Przemyslaw Gierasik in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zeledon Curcio saved Yala from getting behind. 93 minutes into the game, Przemyslaw Gierasik cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Zeledon Curcio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Mafia Koniaka's Przemyslaw Gierasik in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Yala's goalie prevented a goal.

Mafia Koniaka walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
