All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Crispin Coulson was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Inter FC Torino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anthony Bye to maneuver through the defense. Kuno Bährmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 57th play minutes Crispin Coulson shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Hans Peukert and just under the crossbar into goal. Alf Maylett hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Crispin Coulson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Hans Peukert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Pierre Rhodes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Kuno Bährmann's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Chaz Quinn was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. Werner Grund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Chaz Quinn made a huge save. 80 minutes into the match, Werner Grund had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Chaz Quinn. Inter FC Torino's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Werner Grund was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. When Jay Beattie came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Inter FC Torino fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jay Beattie couldn't finish the play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Inter FC Torino had played much better football throughout.
