Vic Carragher didn't get a good kick on the ball. 6 minutes into the match, Inter FC Torino's goal looked a bit too open when Vic Carragher came free, but Chaz Quinn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8th minute Vic Carragher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chaz Quinn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 13 played minutes Inter FC Torino got a freekick which was hit by Johnathon Cousens. 14 minutes into the match, Ozzy Norton had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Chaz Quinn. Inter FC Torino's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ozzy Norton was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After 16 played minutes Bury AFC got a freekick which was hit by Greg Jepson. 20 minutes into the match, Bury AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jay Beattie came free, but Robbie Gamble reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robbie Gamble stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Crispin Coulson's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Bury AFC's Dominic Seaman got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Inter FC Torino defense, Ozzy Norton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Chaz Quinn. The Inter FC Torino fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Chaz Quinn should have stopped the shot. After 27 played minutes Bury AFC got a freekick which was hit by Robert Smith. Jay Beattie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Robbie Gamble tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jay Beattie during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Crispin Coulson to make the kick off. Robert Smith kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Robbie Gamble made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pierre Rhodes in the 57th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Vic Carragher made a precise shot to the right of Chaz Quinn. Inter FC Torino's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Chaz Quinn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dominic Seaman, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Crispin Coulson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robbie Gamble having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Dominic Seaman notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Inter FC Torino's Chaz Quinn. Chaz Quinn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Bury AFC's Dominic Seaman got a free kick in the 74th minute. Chaz Quinn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ozzy Norton in the 78th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ozzy Norton in the 81st minute of play forced Inter FC Torino's goalkeeper Chaz Quinn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Greg Jepson kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Jay Beattie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Crispin Coulson struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Robbie Gamble didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Inter FC Torino. If Crispin Coulson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Crispin Coulson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Robbie Gamble tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Inter FC Torino's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Bury AFC had won, even though Inter FC Torino had held more of the ball.
