In the 5th match minute, Nancy AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jimmy Riad to maneuver through the defense. Hans Peukert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jimmy Riad in the 7th minute of the match. Sepp Bärwolf could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Walter Gardner made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jack Taylor in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hans Peukert saved Sin City 73 from getting behind. If Jimmy Riad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jimmy Riad succeeded in the game's 24th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Jimmy Riad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hans Peukert having to interfere. Ralph Rebele could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Walter Gardner made a huge save. 32 minutes into the game, Kuno Bährmann recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Walter Gardner. Kuno Bährmann showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. 37 minutes into the match, Sin City 73's Kuno Bährmann sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Walter Gardner narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 38 minutes into the match, Werner Grund notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Nancy AFC's Walter Gardner. Walter Gardner was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kuno Bährmann to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Nancy AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Kuno Bährmann came free, but Walter Gardner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 53rd minute, Blair Trueman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Werner Grund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sin City 73's supporters rose to their feet, but Werner Grund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Walter Gardner breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sin City 73's defense didn't have a chance, in the 57th minute, when Jimmy Riad scored to the left of an out of position Hans Peukert, making the score, 2-2. In the 70th minute, Werner Grund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ralph Rebele charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ralph Rebele the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 73 minutes into the match, Sin City 73's goalkeeper Hans Peukert had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jack Taylor. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ralph Rebele in the 74th minute of play forced Nancy AFC's goalkeeper Walter Gardner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes into the game, Jimmy Riad lined in a short shot 2-3 behind a frustrated Hans Peukert. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Jack Taylor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nancy AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jack Taylor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hans Peukert breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Walter Gardner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kuno Bährmann in the 81st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ralph Rebele in the 82nd minute of play forced Nancy AFC's goalkeeper Walter Gardner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Werner Grund during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Werner Grund hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Hans Peukert made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jack Taylor in the 86th minute. When Kuno Bährmann came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Sin City 73 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kuno Bährmann couldn't finish the play. Jack Taylor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Hans Peukert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ralph Rebele fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walter Gardner having to interfere. The Sin City 73 fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Nancy AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
