With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jack Taylor in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vinícius Schmidt saved corre ou morrer from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jimmy Riad in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vinícius Schmidt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Walter Gardner made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alessandro de Medeiros in the 58th minute. Marcelinho Moura kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jimmy Riad in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vinícius Schmidt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Jimmy Riad came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Nancy AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jimmy Riad couldn't finish the play. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Nancy AFC's zone, Serafim do Valle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Walter Gardner came out of the goal and Serafim do Valle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 94 played minutes corre ou morrer got a freekick which was hit by Serafim do Valle.
