Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rafet Ilgınlı got the match started through his kick off. Yağızhan Şafakoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Robbie Gamble tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 5th minute, Rafet Ilgınlı ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Robbie Gamble was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 8th play minutes Ozzy Norton shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Ahmet Ömür Ceri and just under the crossbar into goal. When Jimmy Little fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bury AFC's protests and gave Jimmy Little a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Bury AFC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Jimmy Little hit a great ball. When Kutlualp Özbilek fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fenerbahçe's protests and gave Kutlualp Özbilek a yellow card for diving instead. Kutlualp Özbilek hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Ahmet Ömür Ceri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dominic Seaman in the 25th minute. Jimmy Little struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Ahmet Ömür Ceri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bury AFC. Tom Haywood made in the 33rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Vic Carragher. Ahmet Ömür Ceri was a little too slow when Vic Carragher got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 2-2. 39 minutes into the match, Fenerbahçe's goal looked a bit too open when Dominic Seaman came free, but Ahmet Ömür Ceri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fenerbahçe's Ahmet Ömür Ceri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Greg Jepson in the 41st minute of play. Boğaçhan Uzhan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ozzy Norton stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ahmet Ömür Ceri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dominic Seaman, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Ozzy Norton took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ahmet Ömür Ceri. Ahmet Ömür Ceri dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. The supporters of Bury AFC booed when Fenerbahçe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ömer Rusuhi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd minute Vic Carragher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Ömür Ceri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kutlualp Özbilek hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boğaçhan Uzhan in the 67th minute of play forced Bury AFC's goalkeeper Robbie Gamble to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dominic Seaman in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ahmet Ömür Ceri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ozzy Norton took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ahmet Ömür Ceri. Ahmet Ömür Ceri dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. Rio Lambley took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 81st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ahmet Ömür Ceri. Fenerbahçe's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ahmet Ömür Ceri didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dominic Seaman went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score. Ahmet Ömür Ceri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dominic Seaman in the 89th minute of the match. Fenerbahçe's Ahmet Ömür Ceri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vic Carragher in the 90th minute of play. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Bury AFC were victorious despite being under pressure from Fenerbahçe for much of the match.
