In the 4th minute, Wladyslaw Ryback ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Robbie Gamble was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Jimmy Little's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tymoteusz Wyrostek firmly grabbed it by the left post. Jimmy Little succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 11th playminute. FC Łopoń made a substitution. Gustaw Pilarczyk replaced Kryspin Komornicki. 14 minutes into the game, Vic Carragher was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bury AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Łopoń the free kick. The supporters of FC Łopoń booed when Bury AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vic Carragher didn't get a good kick on the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Greg Jepson in the 16th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC Łopoń's Witomir Pietrowiak. Artur Dulemba blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Robbie Gamble having to make a save. Bury AFC's Robbie Gamble played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonard Jankowski in the 20th minute of play. The supporters of Bury AFC booed when FC Łopoń was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Witomir Pietrowiak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wladyslaw Ryback kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Tymoteusz Wyrostek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vic Carragher in the 25th minute of the match. Tymoteusz Wyrostek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ozzy Norton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tymoteusz Wyrostek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dominic Seaman in the 27th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Bury AFC's zone, Artur Dulemba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robbie Gamble came out of the goal and Artur Dulemba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 30 minutes into the match, FC Łopoń's goal looked a bit too open when Dominic Seaman came free, but Tymoteusz Wyrostek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jimmy Little succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 33rd playminute. Tom Haywood's late challenge caught a FC Łopoń's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tom Haywood helped the player get up and apologised. In the 36th match minute, Bury AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tom Haywood to maneuver through the defense. Tymoteusz Wyrostek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ozzy Norton, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 40th minute, FC Łopoń's Wladyslaw Ryback seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Wladyslaw Ryback the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FC Łopoń protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Wladyslaw Ryback had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 39 minutes into the game, one of FC Łopoń:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The wind increased when Leonard Jankowski made the kick off in the second half. Ozzy Norton scored 4-1 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tymoteusz Wyrostek, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 55th match minute, Bury AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Greg Jepson to maneuver through the defense. Tymoteusz Wyrostek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dominic Seaman in the 58th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Leonard Jankowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Konstanty Luty hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Tom Haywood managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bury AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tom Haywood was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tymoteusz Wyrostek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 67 played minutes Bury AFC got a freekick which was hit by Rio Lambley. A collision led to Bury AFC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Rio Lambley hit a great ball. Leonard Jankowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Robbie Gamble read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Rio Lambley in the 71st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC Łopoń's Hieronim Hajder. A very good chance. 92 minutes into the game, Bury AFC's Greg Jepson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tymoteusz Wyrostek made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Ozzy Norton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
