Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ozzy Norton kicked off to start the match. Jimmy Riad kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Walter Gardner didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ozzy Norton went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 10th minute, Blair Trueman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nancy AFC's Walter Gardner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ozzy Norton in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute Sam Lowe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robbie Gamble saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Walter Gardner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dominic Seaman in the 29th minute of play. After 31 played minutes Bury AFC got a freekick which was hit by Vic Carragher. When Jimmy Riad came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Nancy AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jimmy Riad couldn't finish the play. 33 minutes into the match, Bury AFC's goalkeeper Robbie Gamble had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jack Taylor. After having played for 35 minutes, Sam Lowe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nancy AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sam Lowe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 38th minute, Jimmy Riad left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nancy AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. After a rather tough play, Bury AFC's Eddie Horn got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Robbie Gamble didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jimmy Riad went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jack Taylor to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes of play, Nancy AFC's Jimmy Riad made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Robbie Gamble was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vic Carragher could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Walter Gardner made a huge save. 57 minutes into the match, Nancy AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ozzy Norton came free, but Walter Gardner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th match minute, Nancy AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dom Woodman to maneuver through the defense. Walter Gardner acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 59th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Tom Haywood. 60 minutes into the game, Bury AFC's Ozzy Norton nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Walter Gardner made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimmy Riad in the 64th minute of play forced Bury AFC's goalkeeper Robbie Gamble to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute, Jimmy Riad left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nancy AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. 73 minutes into the match, Nancy AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ozzy Norton came free, but Walter Gardner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Bury AFC's Vic Carragher in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nancy AFC's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dominic Seaman during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bury AFC's Dominic Seaman got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Blair Trueman kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. The goalkeeper, Walter Gardner, was totally fooled by Bury AFC's Tom Haywood, who 97 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. There was no doubt that Nancy AFC were the better team. Nancy AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
