In the 5th minute of the match Troyes FC got a corner. Diamante Negro FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lance Cambridge ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Troyes FC's corner Lance Cambridge fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Moreno Langarica quite easily take care of the ball. Kristian Sykes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabian Bellmunt, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. When Blanco Santa fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Diamante Negro FC's protests and gave Blanco Santa a yellow card for diving instead. Blanco Santa kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Lance Cambridge shot from long distance in the 10th minute, but Moreno Langarica was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. In the 12th match minute, Troyes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lance Cambridge to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duncan Farrell in the 15th minute of play forced Diamante Negro FC's goalkeeper Moreno Langarica to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Fabian Bellmunt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Fabian Bellmunt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kristian Sykes was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. In the 20th minute, Troyes FC's Carl Dodgson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Moreno Langarica. Moreno Langarica yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 23 minutes into the game, Lance Cambridge was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Troyes FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Diamante Negro FC the free kick. After 23 played minutes Troyes FC got a freekick which was hit by Lance Cambridge. After a defensive mix-up in Troyes FC's zone, Fabian Bellmunt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kristian Sykes came out of the goal and Fabian Bellmunt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Diamante Negro FC's Blanco Santa managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Lance Cambridge in the 26 minute of the game. Fabian Bellmunt might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kristian Sykes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fabian Bellmunt ran back to his position shaking his head. After 33 played minutes Diamante Negro FC got a freekick which was hit by Angel Rico. Fabian Bellmunt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristian Sykes having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Diamante Negro FC's Blanco Santa got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Lewis Inman's late challenge caught a Diamante Negro FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lewis Inman helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Troyes FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Lewis Inman hit a great ball. After 47 played minutes Troyes FC got a freekick which was hit by Lewis Inman.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Duncan Farrell stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With 53 minutes on the clock, Emanuel Araujo commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 52 minutes into the game, one of Diamante Negro FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Carl Dodgson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Moreno Langarica read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Lance Cambridge hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carl Dodgson in the 70th minute of play forced Diamante Negro FC's goalkeeper Moreno Langarica to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aurelio Abeitia struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Kristian Sykes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Diamante Negro FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duncan Farrell in the 75th minute of play forced Diamante Negro FC's goalkeeper Moreno Langarica to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute, Aurelio Abeitia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carl Dodgson in the 77th minute of play forced Diamante Negro FC's goalkeeper Moreno Langarica to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Diamante Negro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Duncan Farrell came free, but Moreno Langarica reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diamante Negro FC's Moreno Langarica played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duncan Farrell in the 90th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Mike Hunter notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Diamante Negro FC's Moreno Langarica. Moreno Langarica was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Duncan Farrell in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Moreno Langarica prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
