The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Robbie Gamble took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sepp Bärwolf, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Sin City 73's zone, Ozzy Norton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hans Peukert came out of the goal and Ozzy Norton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jimmy Little charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jimmy Little the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 9th minute, Jimmy Little hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bury AFC's Robbie Gamble played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sepp Bärwolf in the 14th minute of play. Robbie Gamble came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Sin City 73's Kuno Bährmann. But to his dismay, Kuno Bährmann quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. With his leg Hans Peukert managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when Bury AFC's Dominic Seaman fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a little luck, Sin City 73's Hans Peukert got control of the ball when Dominic Seaman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dominic Seaman in the 26thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hans Peukert, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Robbie Gamble took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ralph Rebele, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 31 minutes into the match, Sin City 73's goal looked a bit too open when Ozzy Norton came free, but Hans Peukert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sin City 73's goalkeeper Hans Peukert, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Dominic Seaman fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bury AFC's protests and gave Dominic Seaman a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Bury AFC's Dominic Seaman got a free kick in the 35th minute. A collision led to Bury AFC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Keanu Bannatyne hit a great ball. If Werner Grund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute, Ralph Rebele hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 42nd minute of the match Tom Haywood sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hans Peukert skillfully saved the ball. 44 minutes into the game, Dominic Seaman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Hans Peukert was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kuno Bährmann to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Greg Jepson made a precise shot to the right of Hans Peukert. Sin City 73's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. 54 minutes into the match, Bury AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Kuno Bährmann came free, but Robbie Gamble reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute Ozzy Norton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hans Peukert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bury AFC's Robbie Gamble played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kuno Bährmann in the 58th minute of play. Hans Peukert stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dominic Seaman's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. If Ralph Rebele had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 75 minutes into the match, Bury AFC's goalkeeper Robbie Gamble had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Werner Grund. Ralph Rebele hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. A collision led to Sin City 73 getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Sepp Bärwolf hit a great ball. Robbie Gamble showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kuno Bährmann in the 91st minute of the match. Robbie Gamble made an important save on a dangerous shot by Werner Grund in the 94th minute. If Kuno Bährmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bury AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Sin City 73 for a fine match.
