When José Alberto Carrizo fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carrizal FC's protests and gave José Alberto Carrizo a yellow card for diving instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Crispin Coulson in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Menéndez Dohrmann saved Carrizal FC from getting behind. Menéndez Dohrmann came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Inter FC Torino's Jay Beattie. But to his dismay, Jay Beattie quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 29th match minute, Carrizal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Alberto Carrizo to maneuver through the defense. Crispin Coulson did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised Menéndez Dohrmann 30 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute, Luke Collingwood hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chaz Quinn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Hurtado in the 36th minute of play. When Crispin Coulson came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Inter FC Torino fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Crispin Coulson couldn't finish the play. Menéndez Dohrmann stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Crispin Coulson's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. 45 minutes into the game, Crispin Coulson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Menéndez Dohrmann was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Carrizal FC's Menéndez Dohrmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Crispin Coulson in the 54th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Carrizal FC's Omar Arcos got a free kick in the 56th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Crispin Coulson during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Esteban Chavarria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ivor Burrows hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celestino Maggiora in the 64th minute of play forced Inter FC Torino's goalkeeper Chaz Quinn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute, Alf Maylett got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luke Collingwood struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Menéndez Dohrmann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Inter FC Torino. Esteban Chavarria scored 3-2 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Chaz Quinn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Pierre Rhodes came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Inter FC Torino fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pierre Rhodes couldn't finish the play. Inter FC Torino's Chaz Quinn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Inter FC Torino from getting a goal against them. Alf Maylett blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Menéndez Dohrmann having to make a save. When Inter FC Torino's Crispin Coulson, in the 82nd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Inter FC Torino. Menéndez Dohrmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Crispin Coulson, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 85th match minute, Carrizal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Omar Arcos to maneuver through the defense. Carrizal FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luke Collingwood ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Inter FC Torino's Luke Collingwood to fire away a dangerous shot which Menéndez Dohrmann despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Crispin Coulson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Menéndez Dohrmann having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Inter FC Torino had played much better football throughout.
