Josías Lecuna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vic Carragher in the 3rd minute of the match. After 4 played minutes No Face Samus got a freekick which was hit by Aurelio Paetz. In the 4th minute Ozzy Norton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Josías Lecuna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bury AFC's Robbie Gamble played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albino Fevre in the 8th minute of play. Dominic Seaman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Robbie Gamble made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albino Fevre in the 17th minute of play. Robbie Gamble showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from César Celada in the 20th minute of the match. After 20 minutes, Jimmy Little mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bury AFC and the No Face Samus players grew even worse after the yellow card. César Celada took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Robbie Gamble. Bury AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Robbie Gamble showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albino Fevre, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. No Face Samus's Josías Lecuna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vic Carragher in the 28th minute of play. After a rather tough play, No Face Samus's Alberto Mosca got a free kick in the 29th minute. Dominic Seaman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Josías Lecuna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Smith, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute, No Face Samus's Victorino Thompson seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Victorino Thompson the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of No Face Samus protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Victorino Thompson had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Josías Lecuna had in the 37thth minute some difficulties stopping Tom Haywood's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After a rather tough play, No Face Samus's Baudelio Bettini got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Ozzy Norton received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Josías Lecuna came out and tried to block the shot, but Ozzy Norton slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when César Celada stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jimmy Little kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After 53 played minutes Bury AFC got a freekick which was hit by Tom Haywood. Baraquiel Apaulaza hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dominic Seaman in the 57th minute of play forced No Face Samus's goalkeeper Josías Lecuna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to No Face Samus getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. César Celada hit a great ball. 66 minutes into the match, No Face Samus's goal looked a bit too open when Vic Carragher came free, but Josías Lecuna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Josías Lecuna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vic Carragher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anastasio Ruminas kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when César Celada got free with Robbie Gamble in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dominic Seaman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josías Lecuna having to interfere. Josías Lecuna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vic Carragher in the 85th minute of play. Josías Lecuna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ozzy Norton in the 89th minute of the match. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bury AFC's goalkeeper Robbie Gamble, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
