Bury AFC were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after Inter FC Torino's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tom Haywood took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Tom Haywood got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Chaz Quinn quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jimmy Little kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Bury AFC's Dominic Seaman got a free kick in the 19th minute. Vic Carragher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Chaz Quinn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Vic Carragher had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Chaz Quinn. Inter FC Torino's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vic Carragher was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 25 minutes into the match, Bury AFC's goalkeeper Robbie Gamble had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Crispin Coulson. Jay Beattie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Jay Beattie came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Inter FC Torino fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jay Beattie couldn't finish the play. Inter FC Torino's Chaz Quinn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ozzy Norton in the 32nd minute of play. The Bury AFC fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when Bury AFC's Dominic Seaman looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 37th minute, Crispin Coulson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Robbie Gamble. The goal made the score 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ozzy Norton in the 41st minute of play forced Inter FC Torino's goalkeeper Chaz Quinn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rdth minute of the game Crispin Coulson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bury AFC's Robbie Gamble was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 43 played minutes Bury AFC got a freekick which was hit by Rio Lambley. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Crispin Coulson took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Robbie Gamble to make any attempt to save it. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Crispin Coulson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Crispin Coulson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice moves Dominic Seaman could shoot a difficult shot in the 56th minute, which Chaz Quinn however easily saved by the left post. In the 57th minute, Ozzy Norton reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Chaz Quinn. The goal made the score 2-3. Chaz Quinn made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Dominic Seaman sent off a good shot on target. Ozzy Norton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vic Carragher in the 76th minute of play forced Inter FC Torino's goalkeeper Chaz Quinn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute, Jay Beattie left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Inter FC Torino fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. When Alf Maylett fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Inter FC Torino's protests and gave Alf Maylett a yellow card for diving instead. Alf Maylett hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 81st minute of the match Tom Haywood sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Chaz Quinn skillfully saved the ball. Chaz Quinn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ozzy Norton in the 82nd minute of the match. Robbie Gamble came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Inter FC Torino's Pierre Rhodes. But to his dismay, Pierre Rhodes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. Bury AFC's Robbie Gamble played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pierre Rhodes in the 94th minute of play. Inter FC Torino were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Bury AFC for a fine match.
