With a little luck, Inter FC Torino's Chaz Quinn got control of the ball when Rafet Ilgınlı tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ferid Erçin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. 46 minutes into the match, Rafet Ilgınlı dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Chaz Quinn, 2-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

Anthony Bye was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 85 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Inter FC Torino fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 84th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Fenerbahçe a penalty, 86 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Yağızhan Şafakoğlu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Inter FC Torino's Chaz Quinn. 6-4. 94 minutes into the match, Inter FC Torino's goal looked a bit too open when Rafet Ilgınlı came free, but Chaz Quinn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fenerbahçe were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Inter FC Torino for a fine match.
