After 4 played minutes Kuno Bährmann could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 1-0 into the left cross. The audience thought a goal was coming when Werner Grund got free with Vinícius Schmidt in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Kuno Bährmann got free in front of the goal in the 7th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Vinícius Schmidt was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. With a little luck, corre ou morrer's Vinícius Schmidt got control of the ball when Werner Grund tried to sneak it across the goal line. Serafim do Valle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hans Peukert having to interfere. Lúcio Donatello took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hans Peukert. Sin City 73's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Werner Grund fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Vinícius Schmidt, passed just outside the right post. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind corre ou morrer's goalkeeper Vinícius Schmidt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of corre ou morrer booed when Sin City 73 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Irmin Kühlem didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Serafim do Valle was the one to do the kick off. Sepp Bärwolf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 54 minutes of play, Sin City 73's David Horrer made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vinícius Schmidt was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kuno Bährmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Vinícius Schmidt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vinícius Schmidt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kuno Bährmann in the 66th minute of play. Kuno Bährmann might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vinícius Schmidt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kuno Bährmann ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Werner Grund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vinícius Schmidt was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. 70 minutes into the match, Sin City 73's Kuno Bährmann sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vinícius Schmidt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 76 minutes into the match, corre ou morrer's goal looked a bit too open when Kuno Bährmann came free, but Vinícius Schmidt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in corre ou morrer's zone, Kuno Bährmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vinícius Schmidt came out of the goal and Kuno Bährmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jean Saldanha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Hans Peukert made a huge save. 82 minutes into the game, Dráuzio Dracena was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. corre ou morrer's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sin City 73 the free kick. After 82 played minutes corre ou morrer got a freekick which was hit by Dráuzio Dracena. Werner Grund charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. During the 90th minute of the match Marcelinho Moura completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Marcelinho Moura a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Marcelinho Moura kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. If Jean Saldanha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute.
