The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. IFK Tallkotte's Neno Burmov came free and shot a quick shot against goal 3 minutes in the game, fortunately Brandon Borthwick had problems saving as it came toward the left post. William McJames lost his temper 5 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. William McJames kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. The supporters of IFK Tallkotte booed when Dundee Rovers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Josh Galloway didn't get a good kick on the ball. Neno Burmov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th minute, Verner Kjellkvist made a precise shot to the right of Brandon Borthwick. Dundee Rovers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Verner Kjellkvist scored 2-0 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Brandon Borthwick, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Neno Burmov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Brandon Borthwick made a huge save. Brandon Borthwick made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Godo Møltoft sent off a good shot on target. In the 32nd minute, Godo Møltoft left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The IFK Tallkotte fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. When Neno Burmov came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the IFK Tallkotte fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Neno Burmov couldn't finish the play. 38 minutes into the game, Verner Kjellkvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Brandon Borthwick was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Verner Kjellkvist scored 5-0 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Brandon Borthwick, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Verner Kjellkvist was the one to do the kick off. After 51 minutes of play, IFK Tallkotte's Neno Burmov made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Brandon Borthwick was left in no man's land by his defense there! Brandon Borthwick showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Verner Kjellkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. 54 minutes into the match, Dundee Rovers's goal looked a bit too open when Godo Møltoft came free, but Brandon Borthwick reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 60 minutes into the game, IFK Tallkotte's Verner Kjellkvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Brandon Borthwick made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. In the 62nd minute of the match Godo Møltoft shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Brandon Borthwick showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Joakim Isaksson was a little too slow when Arthur McKelvie got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 68th minute. The score was now 7-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Walter Munn during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 78 played minutes Dundee Rovers got a freekick which was hit by Walter Munn. Verner Kjellkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Godo Møltoft in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Brandon Borthwick saved Dundee Rovers from getting behind. IFK Tallkotte's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lukas Isaksson in the 90th minute. The corner led IFK Tallkotte's Lukas Isaksson to fire away a dangerous shot which Brandon Borthwick despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 92 minutes into the game, IFK Tallkotte's Verner Kjellkvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Brandon Borthwick made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-1. Dundee Rovers's Brandon Borthwick played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Neno Burmov in the 95th minute of play. There was no doubt that IFK Tallkotte were the better team. IFK Tallkotte's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
