The Racing Club Sidon fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bilal Khadra should have stopped the shot. Bilal Khadra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gus Simpson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bilal Khadra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nick McDonachie in the 11th minute of the match. In the 12th match minute, Racing Club Sidon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moneer Rashid to maneuver through the defense. Bilal Khadra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nick McDonachie, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 14th match minute, Racing Club Sidon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ubaid Umayyah to maneuver through the defense. Wasil Jabbar hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Bilal Khadra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nick McDonachie in the 17th minute of play. Racing Club Sidon's Bilal Khadra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nick McDonachie in the 23rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kamel Wahab got free with Brandon Borthwick in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dundee Rovers's Brandon Borthwick played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yousef Abdul Karim in the 29th minute of play. In the 33rd minute Gus Simpson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bilal Khadra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gus Simpson scored 0-3 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bilal Khadra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nick McDonachie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Nick McDonachie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nick McDonachie in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bilal Khadra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Bilal Khadra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gus Simpson went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. Dundee Rovers's Brandon Borthwick played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dani Abbas in the 97th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Dundee Rovers eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
