Rafael Nisio might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hermann Hesse. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rafael Nisio ran back to his position shaking his head. Hermann Hesse made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Rafael Nisio sent off a good shot on target. In the 41st minute Bartolo Basualdo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruperto Nayely saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Pendex's Ryan Keuppens got a free kick in the 42nd minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rafael Nisio to make the kick off. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Saul Bembe ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 75th minute, Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Joao Montanez ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ruperto Nayely. Ruperto Nayely yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. 80 minutes into the match, Pendex's goal looked a bit too open when Joao Montanez came free, but Ruperto Nayely reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ruperto Nayely made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Erruki Velarroa sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erruki Velarroa got free with Ruperto Nayely in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hermann Hesse came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Pendex's Antonio Inguma. But to his dismay, Antonio Inguma quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Hermann Hesse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Inguma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joao Montanez took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ruperto Nayely. Ruperto Nayely dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. The Deportivo Popolizio FBC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
