Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Argentina's Benedicto Naelio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 played minutes Argentina got a freekick which was hit by Benedicto Naelio. Benedicto Naelio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nils Elmhuus read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. If Benedicto Naelio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 11th minute Benedicto Naelio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils Elmhuus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fausto Santana made a great header on Argentina's corner, it was just that Playa Malvín's Nils Elmhuus managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 22ndth minute of the game Benedicto Naelio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Playa Malvín's Nils Elmhuus was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 29th minute Gong Qi Fan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lev Yashin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benedicto Naelio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Nils Elmhuus made a huge save. When Benedicto Naelio came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Argentina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benedicto Naelio couldn't finish the play. Stelian Murgu charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stelian Murgu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gong Qi Fan to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Paolo-César Maldini managed to get in a good position for a shot. Argentina's supporters rose to their feet, but Paolo-César Maldini was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nils Elmhuus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Playa Malvín defense, Benedicto Naelio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nils Elmhuus. The Playa Malvín fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nils Elmhuus should have stopped the shot. Argentina's Carlos Eufrasio was substituted for Paolo-César Maldini. Argentina made a substitution. Severo Rolado replaced Armando Felipillo. Argentina's Benedicto Naelio got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Severo Rolado in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nils Elmhuus saved Playa Malvín from getting behind. Playa Malvín's Nils Elmhuus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Eufrasio in the 74th minute of play. Nils Elmhuus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benedicto Naelio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Playa Malvín made a substitution. Quinto Ampudia replaced Gong Qi Fan. A sloppy throw-in by Fausto Santana in the 78th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Playa Malvín's Constantijn De Hond. 92 minutes into the match, Quinto Ampudia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lev Yashin. Argentina's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Quinto Ampudia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 96th minute Severo Rolado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils Elmhuus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
