Dep Colonia Avellaneda's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. José Macías ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Azul Y Plomo's José Macías to fire away a dangerous shot which Victoriano Bernaldo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Victoriano Bernaldo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tor Bern in the 12th minute. A hard shot 14 in the game by Tor Bern from a close distance when the talented Victoriano Bernaldo managed to make a qualified save. Dep Colonia Avellaneda's players were relieved. After taking down the ball on Azul Y Plomo's corner José Macías fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Victoriano Bernaldo quite easily take care of the ball. After some careless play in the Azul Y Plomo defense, Darryl Buckner kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zacarias Cabrero. The Azul Y Plomo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zacarias Cabrero should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Dep Colonia Avellaneda booed when Azul Y Plomo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolas Diniz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zacarias Cabrero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Darryl Buckner went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darryl Buckner in the 40th minute of play forced Azul Y Plomo's goalkeeper Zacarias Cabrero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Tor Bern had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 46 played minutes Dep Colonia Avellaneda got a freekick which was hit by Wei Li.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tor Bern to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Azul Y Plomo's Diaz Mota got a free kick in the 50th minute. Azul Y Plomo's Zacarias Cabrero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darryl Buckner in the 51st minute of play. Victoriano Bernaldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tor Bern, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Darryl Buckner took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zacarias Cabrero. Zacarias Cabrero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Nicolas Diniz got a throw-in 62 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Hector-Luis Arzola. 63 minutes into the match, Dep Colonia Avellaneda's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Macías came free, but Victoriano Bernaldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector-Luis Arzola in the 69th minute of play forced Dep Colonia Avellaneda's goalkeeper Victoriano Bernaldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
