Constantin Potocianu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, Dep Colonia Avellaneda's goal looked a bit too open when Usain Bolt came free, but Victoriano Bernaldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Mapovihesa FC's Usain Bolt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Victoriano Bernaldo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 14 minutes Dep Colonia Avellaneda's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kálmán Pádár who took care of the corner kick. In the 15th minute, Ramachandramurthy Ramachandran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Usain Bolt who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Victoriano Bernaldo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Mapovihesa FC were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after Dep Colonia Avellaneda's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kálmán Pádár took the corner. In the 34thth minute of the game Usain Bolt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Victoriano Bernaldo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 38 minutes of play, Mapovihesa FC's Usain Bolt made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Victoriano Bernaldo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mapovihesa FC's Constantin Potocianu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darryl Buckner in the 42nd minute of play. In the 45th minute, Usain Bolt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Darryl Buckner to strike the kick off in the second half. Victoriano Bernaldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Usain Bolt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mapovihesa FC made a substitution. Victoriano Bernaldo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 92nd minute Usain Bolt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victoriano Bernaldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Raimundo Erramu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Victoriano Bernaldo was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Mapovihesa FC's Stig Andersson was substituted for Usain Bolt. Dep Colonia Avellaneda's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
